We will drive down Broadway, pointing out the Gilbert District and its vibrant, thriving restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, and antique stores. The historic district is home to more than 30 local businesses. During the tour, we will share fun facts, such as the bar built from a jail, the largest screen for watching the big game, and the reputedly spookiest tavern and why it has that reputation. We will also point out The End of the Lewis and Clark Trail, the Promenade trails, the most popular festivals, and beach clean-up activities.
Tillamook Head is one of the best hikes on the Oregon Coast. We will guide you to the trailhead for a photo and provide details about the trail, its length, and the sights you will see if you decide to take on the challenge. At the top, hikers can enjoy a great view of the retired Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. On the Drive down see the Cove, The sailors grave, and Painted Rock beach.
