Pyramids of Giza
Depart from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza with a knowledgeable tour guide to commence your journey. Explore the Giza Pyramids, where you'll marvel at the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos. Discover the Valley Temple, where priests mummified the deceased body of King Chephren. Get up close to The Sphinx, the legendary guardian overlooking the vast funeral complex, boasting a lion body and the head of King Chephren. Please note that entry inside any of the pyramids is not included and requires additional tickets, which can be purchased during the tour.
Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Giza stands as the eldest and grandest among the trio of pyramids within the Giza pyramid complex adjacent to modern-day El Giza, Egypt. It holds the distinction of being the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is the sole structure to have endured largely intact through the ages.
Khafre's Pyramid
The second-largest pyramid at Giza and in Egypt was constructed for Khafre, the third pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty during the Old Kingdom Period of Ancient Egypt around 2540 BC. Khafre, alternatively known by the Greek name Chephren, was the son of Khufu, the builder of the Great Pyramid, and the grandson of Sneferu, another prominent architect of Ancient Egypt. The tour includes an external visit to the pyramid; however, entrance to the interior requires an additional ticket, which can be purchased during the visit.
