La Huaca del Sol
We will pick you up from the hotel, pass through the Moche Valley and arrive at the Temple of the Sun and the Moon, an archaeological complex, considered a Moche sanctuary. It consists of a set of monuments located about five kilometers south of the city of Trujillo, in the Moche district. This archaeological site physically represented the capital of the Moche culture. It preserves interesting mural paintings in 5 colours (white, black, red, blue and yellow), which were obtained from minerals, and reliefs where you can see the Moche deity called Ai apaec or the beheading god. It is also possible to visit the ceremonial courtyards and plazas that are more than 1,500 years old.

We can find exhibitions of the culture's ceramics, a module that provides graphic information (3D cube), and display cases that exhibit metallurgical pieces from the society.

We will return to the Moche Valley to see and/or buy some souvenirs, as well as take some photos in emblematic places
