Doune Castle

We depart from Glasgow and make our way to Doune Castle, recognized by Outlander fans as Castle Leoch, the residence of Clan MacKenzie. Discover this remarkable 14th-century fortress and envision life in the Highlands as depicted in the series. *Reserve at the time of booking

Culross

Explore Culross, the backdrop for the fictional Cranesmuir. Stroll through the cobbled streets and see Claire’s herb garden. This charming village is a must-see for fans of both history and Outlander.

Falkland

In Falkland, discover the town that served as 1940s Inverness. Enjoy a leisurely lunch and visit iconic landmarks such as the Bruce Fountain, where Jamie's ghost first appeared in the opening episode of Outlander.

  • Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
  • It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
  • There are days when a castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. The tour will then include Linlithgow Palace in its place as an exterior visit.
  • Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
  • If downloading an audio guide, remember to bring your headset.

  • This tour will depart from Buchanan Street Bus Station, Glasgow, from stances 23 - 32 (look out for a blue bus). Meet 15 minutes before departure. Your guide will be there to meet you.
