Our journey starts with a afternoon pickup. Drive in air conditioned comfort into the heart of the city of Falmouth. Locals are known to "mek fashion" with whatever food is in season, so you'll get to sample a variety of dishes such as ackee (when in season) & saltfish, crab/lobster (when in season), beef/ chicken patties, natural juicies, Jamaican hotdogs and Jamaican popsicles. There will be brief interludes between the food stops where we discuss the history of the food, it's current relevance in our society and the ingredients/ process we use to cook.
We do not offer pickups from Ocean Eden Bay or Ocean Coral Springs area/ hotels.

A "road crabby" is a playful term used to describe a Jamaican roadside vendor's makeshift setup for selling freshly caught and seasoned crab. Typically found along coastal roads or near fishing villages, these vendors set up small, rustic stalls or even just spread out a blanket on the side of the road to display their bounty.
Falmouth Artisan Village, located near the historic town of Falmouth, Jamaica, is a cultural hub that highlights local crafts, arts, and cuisine. The eating options at the village reflect Jamaica's rich culinary traditions, offering visitors a taste of authentic island flavors.
Our stop here allows you to sample the world famous Jamaican fast food that is enjoyed by locals as breakfast, lunch or dinner. Patties are a staple in everyday Jamaican diet.
