Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. You will be traveling in a comfortable, private, air-conditioned vehicle for the approximately 1.5 to 2-hour drive to the El Fayoum Oasis.
Valley of the Whales (Wadi Al-Hitan)
Upon arrival in El Fayoum, your journey into the desert begins as you transfer to a rugged 4x4 vehicle. Your first stop is the breathtaking Wadi El Hitan (Valley of the Whales). Here, your guide will lead you through the site, explaining how this area was once a part of an ancient ocean.
