Itinerary

Amalfi

Amalfi is a city in a suggestive natural environment under the steep cliffs on the south-western coast of Italy. Between the IX and XI centuries, it was the seat of a powerful maritime republic. In the heart of the city, the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, of the Arab-Norman era, is characterized by a Byzantine striped façade. The Arsenale Museum of Amalfi is a medieval construction site now an exhibition space.

Ravello

At 365 meters above sea level, the enchanting Ravello stands out, literally "flower" in the buttonhole of the Amalfi coast, with its refined and ancient residences, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, pleasant places that for centuries have hosted and inspired composers, poets, writers, artists and movie stars.

Positano

Positano is a town on the Amalfi coast, in southern Italy. It is a very popular tourist destination with pebble beaches and narrow, steep streets full of shops and cafes. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta has a majolica dome and a Byzantine icon of the 13th century Virgin Mary. The Sentiero degli Dei hiking trail connects Positano to the other coastal towns.
