Pick-up from your accommodation in Cusco, followed by a one-hour drive to our serene retreat center. Nestled in nature, it offers the perfect setting for spiritual connection and healing. Upon arrival, you'll have time to settle in and begin to center yourself through quiet reflection and meditation. The Ayahuasca Ceremony, led by a Master Shaman with deep ancestral wisdom. The ritual begins with an invocation to the spirits of nature and the sacred plant, setting a respectful and sacred tone. Throughout the ceremony, the Shaman will chant icaros, use ritual instruments, and cleanse the space with Mapacho (sacred tobacco). This is a journey of deep self-exploration and emotional release. The ceremony typically ends around midnight, followed by a short integration circle to share experiences. The Shaman will offer guidance to interpret visions & insights gained during the ceremony. You may return to Cusco that night or stay at the center and return the next morning around 7:00 a.m (night ceremony) - Recommended the night ceremony for its powerful, introspective atmosphere. This is a sacred, transformative experience held in an atmosphere of safety, respect, and spiritual care

  • Before the ceremony : We will arrange a brief meeting with our guide one or two days before the ceremony. This important visit offers you the chance to ask any final questions, receive essential guidance, and mentally prepare for the experience. During this meeting, you will also be given the Volcanic Medicinal Water, a traditional detox drink that helps cleanse the body before the Ayahuasca ritual. For best results, we recommend drinking it the day before the ceremony, around 4:00 p.m.. This detox process will support physical purification and deepen your connection with the sacred plant medicine during the ceremony.
  • To ensure a safe and transformative Ayahuasca experience, it is essential to follow a specific diet and preparation protocol. Ideally, you should adopt a vegetarian diet at least 2 days before the ceremony, eliminating red meat and all animal-derived products during the last two days. It is strongly advised to avoid processed and irritating foods, such as spicy dishes, caffeine (coffee, tea, energy drinks), alcohol, and all types of drugs or pharmaceutical medications. Dairy products and sexual activity should also be avoided. On the day of the ceremony, it is best to fast as much as possible, drinking only water. If necessary, you may eat a small portion of fruit in the morning. Additionally, we recommend physical and mental rest the day before & the day after the ceremony and to maintain the dietary restrictions for three days afterward to enhance integration and healing.
  • During the ceremony, it is common for participants to experience nausea, dizziness, or vomiting — these are considered part of the purging and healing process, as Ayahuasca helps release emotional and physical blockages.
