Coastal Yeongjong-do Railway Bike The 5.6km long Yeongjong-do railway bicycle was opened in 2017! Experience the coastline, and take a distance from the endless blue sea to the magnificent scenery of Wolmi-do to the Incheon Bridge. On the other side, you will pass through the characteristic landscape waterfall and sculpture layout area. Relaxing and enjoy nature.
The opening of the Incheon Port in 1883 resulted in many foreigners coming into the area for settlement. Over time, many young people gradually moved out, leaving the neighborhood in a state of stagnanation. A renovation project was started to improve development of the village by painting and decorating classic fairy tales all around.
The Sorae Marsh Ecological Park was once a facility used to produce salt until 1999 when it was coverted into a park, restoring the mud flat, tidal channel, and making the closed salt field a ecological habitat for various marine life and migratory birds.You can experience sea salt production, and learn more about various animals and plants in the Nature Learning Centre. There is a total of 5 observation decks, 8 bird observatories and 2 observartories. The dutch windmills are especially beautiful. On a clear day, sometimes you can get a view similar to the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, with the ground mirroring the sky.
