The passionate bilingual certified nature interpreters will guide you, as you hike off-the-beaten path Indian trails in the jungle. Then you will traverse a huge open water cave, and enjoy body rafting™, a unique sport created by Explora to float downstream while viewing the striking, towering canyons. Your Guides will show their enormous passion for the ecosystems through a hands-on learning experience about the amazing geology of the area, which is the ancient Atlantic Ocean’s floor. Their contagious enthusiasm will lead your discovery of the wildlife, listening to birds, as well as exploring the homeland of the Taíno Indians. After an unforgettable adventure, rest and relax at a small, traditional mountain cottage where you will be served with lunch and beverages.

You will make your own way to the meeting points

The local service provider reserves the right to exclude anyone that shows up with inappropriate cloth. • Dress code: You will be getting wet so you should wear any cloth made of synthetic material, as a lightweight & breathable top made of quick-dry textile. Ladies may wear bathing suit as a first layer, then 'leggings' or sports pants on top. Gentleman may wear swim trunks, also bike pants or light sports pants. Jeans are not recommended. • Shoes: sneakers, closed-toe outdoor shoes, light hiking boots. Flip flop sandals or crocks are not recommended.3. What to bring: • small day-pack, in which you will carry just lunch and water • any personal medications if needed • change of clothes, including shoes, and towel; that, will remain at the facilities.4. Level of difficulty: Average. It requires a moderate level of physical exertion/fitness. Participants should be agile, in good health, and enjoy the outdoors. You do not have to know how to swim. You will wear a United States Coast Guard approved life jacket to keep you afloat.
