(That is old for us) After exploring the hotel we can marvel at the waterfall below. The viewpoints from Tunnel Mountain are grand and second to none! You will feel a renewed sense of wonder, guaranteed. We will go to the much lesser know spots however equally majestic. Blue glacial lakes and views and the powerful pull to mountains we have known for centuries. Hikes, waterfalls Falls, legends, indigenous history and wildlife are a few of the amazing things you will experience! Banff has a long history as a sacred gathering place for ceremony, trade, sharing, visions, and celebration. The Banff area, known as "Minhrpa" (translated in Stoney Nakoda as "the waterfalls") is part of the Treaty 7 territory Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda)comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney First Nations, Tsuut'ina First Nation, Blackfoot Confederacy
