This morning, around 8 o'clock, your guide will come to pick you up at the reception of your hotel to head towards the iconic city of Ayutthaya! It will take a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there by private air-conditioned mini-van. Founded around 1350, Ayutthaya was the second Siamese capital. It was destroyed by the Burmese in the 18th century. Its remains and gigantic monasteries give an idea of its past splendor. Here, you will visit a temple housing a giant Buddha before exploring the historical park. You will have lunch at a small local restaurant recommended by your guide before continuing to discover the remains of several temples belonging to UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Finally, you will end your day with a boat tour of about 40 minutes, after which it will be time to hit the road back to Bangkok. The return to your hotel is scheduled around 5 p.m.
