Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)
Attend an Australian Rules football match involving a Melbourne-based football club. Accompanied by your local host, the rules and game will be explained as well as the origins of Aussie Rules and how it is integral to the local culture. There will also be the opportunity to try out the basic skills.
Fed Square
This is the starting point of the experience with the history and context of what makes Melbourne the Sporting Capital of the World.
Birrarung Marr
On the banks of the Birrarung River (Yarra River) you will learn about the influence of Aboriginal culture and games on Australian sport.

- Meet at Federation Square, between Transport Bar and Princes Bridge. Look out for the tour guide playing with a tennis ball. And please share a WhatsApp number so your guide can share their Live Location on the day and provide updates on the booking.
End Points
- Guests have several options to return to the Downtown area, including walking via Fitzroy Gardens (15 minutes) or via the free city tram service. The MCG also has it's own railway station which runs to various city stations. Note your guide will assist you with directions at the end of the tour.
