Plaza Nueva
Este tour comenzará en una de las plazas más importantes de la ciudad, la Plaza Nueva. Su origen debemos encontrarlo en tiempos cristianos, cuando en 1506 se determinó la ampliación del hasta entonces puente de Hatabin o de los leñadores, que ya situábamos en otra entrada en la confluencia de esta plaza con calle Elvira y la calle Reyes Católicos.
Calle Caldereria Nueva
La calle Calderería es una calle peatonal de la capital que desciende desde la Placeta de San Gregorio hasta la conocida calle Elvira. Es conocida también como «Calle de las Teterías» debido a su ingente locales dedicados a servir tés de todos los tipos.
Pasaremos por la Iglesia de San Gregorio Bético data del siglo XVI, y tiene su origen en una ermita que se construyó por orden de los Reyes Católicos, en honor a los monjes franciscanos Juan de Cetina y Pedro de Dueñas, martirizados en 1397.
