Arrive at Alishan Forest Recreation Area
It is recommended that you take a break at Alishan Railway Station and enjoy Fenchihu bento
Proceed to Alishan Train Station to board the Alishan Forest Railway and leisurely stroll through the forest paths to fully enjoy the phytoncides. A: Any high-speed rail train schedule can be selected. However, Over The Planet cannot reserve train schedules or seats in advance. The actual train you are assigned will depend on availability. If the selected train is fully booked, you can opt for another train or request a full refund.
Q: How do I obtain my high-speed rail tickets?
A: The tickets are physical tickets and will be mailed to your specified address in Taiwan, or can be picked up at the Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 counters, 7 days before your departure.
Q: When will I receive my tickets?
A: High-Speed Rail reservations are only available within 29 days of your departure date. If your departure date is not within 29 days, we will make your reservation and send your ticket after the opening date.
Q: Can I change my departure/arrival stations?
A: High-speed rail tickets are product-specific and have set departure and arrival stations. For example, if you select Taipei Station for departure and stay at a hotel in Kaohsiung, your outbound ticket will be from Taipei to Zuoying, and your return ticket will be from Zuoying to Taipei. No refunds are given for mid-trip changes, and if you miss your stop, you will need to pay the difference based on the official high-speed rail fare.
