There's only one way to learn how to surf, and that's to jump in the water! However, a few helpful tips, the right equipment, and heaps of encouragement from a highly qualified and experienced instructor will go a long way to getting you hooked forever.

Give it your best shot during this two-hour surf lesson, which includes everything you need to learn the ropes. Receive surf safety instruction and all the necessary equipment—including a soft beginner board, leg-rope, and wetsuit. You'll also be provided with customized surf instruction to suit your skill level—and beginners are more than welcome!

    Coming from Gold Coast Highway, turn towards the beach at the intersection between The Star Casino and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre onto Margaret Avenue. When you get to the T-intersection, turn left on Old Burleigh Rd then head towards the Kurrawa Surf Club. Find a car park nearby and head to our big white van in the car park beside the surf club to meet the instructor.
