[Cases in which the compensation system cannot be applied]

In the cases below, you will be responsible for the full cost even if you have signed up for a compensation system.

• Accidents caused by violations of the Road Traffic Act, such as drunk driving, driving without a license, speeding, reckless driving, etc. (Customers are responsible for all damages)
• Flat or burst tires, battery problems due to lights left on or doors left half-open, etc. (current price)
• Wrong type of oil
• Loss or damage of keys (current value)
• Wheel cap lost or damaged to the point that it cannot be used again (current value)
• Seat burns caused by cigarettes, etc. (current value) Other stains or odors inside the car (current value)
• If you extend the rental time without permission and cause an accident
• Accidents caused by unregistered drivers or accidents caused when sub-lending your vehicle to someone else
• Accidents caused by using a mobile phone or looking at a navigation system
• Theft and car break-ins (if the keys were not left in the car and the incident has been reported to the police, and the customer is not at fault, we will compensate for any damage to the vehicle. Theft or loss of luggage is not covered by the compensation.)
• Accidents that occur outside of roads or parking lots. *We will not be responsible for any troubles that occur when using the service outside of the main island of Okinawa (except when connected by bridges) (travel use prohibited).

[Optional insurance contents]
This is the content of the optional insurance that the rental vehicle is covered under. Please check the deductible amount, etc.

• Personal injury compensation: Unlimited/including compulsory automobile liability insurance
• Property damage compensation: Unlimited (①Deductible amount 50,000 yen)
• Vehicle compensation: Current market value per accident (①Deductible amount: 50,000 to 100,000 yen)
• Personal injury compensation: up to 30 million yen per person * Damages incurred by passengers due to injuries sustained in a car accident (including death and permanent disability) will be compensated regardless of the driver's share of fault.
  * Customers will be responsible for any punctured tires, damage, loss of wheel caps, fees, etc.
  * However, this does not apply to accidents that fall under the insurance contract disclaimer, accidents that violate the rental contract, or accidents that have not been reported to the police. Customers will be responsible for any damages.

In the unlikely event of an accident, be sure to take the following steps:

• If there is another party involved, even if it is a single-vehicle accident, please contact the police or our office (or your insurance company if it is outside of business hours).
• If there is another party involved, be sure to ask for their name, contact information, name of their insurance company, and name of the person in charge.
