Yin and Yang Sea, or Yinyang Sea, is a captivating natural wonder located along the northeastern coast of Taiwan, near the town of Ruifang. This unique phenomenon is named after the Taoist concept of Yin and Yang, symbolizing the balance of opposite forces, and it's a stunning example of nature's artistic expression. The most striking feature of the Yin and Yang Sea is the stark contrast between two different-colored bodies of water. The sea appears divided into two sections, with one part having vibrant shades of blue, while the other boasts brilliant golden hues.
It is a captivating and unique attraction known for its golden-hued waters, which are a result of the area's rich mining history. The Golden Waterfall gets its name from the striking golden and yellowish hues of the water. This unique coloration is due to the presence of heavy metal elements, particularly iron and copper, that leach into the water from the old mining sites in the area.
