The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
In the early morning, you will head to Beijing Airport and take the prearranged flight to Xi’an by yourself. The round-trip flights will be sent to you before the tour, you will arrange and pay Beijing airport transportation by yourself, private guide and transfer service are only included in Xi’an. Upon arrival in Xi’an airport, you will be welcomed by local professional guide and transferred to the first stop with comfortable private vehicle. Here you are in Xi’an, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. You will firstly visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum - the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and the must-see on all travelers' itinerary. Follow your guide to explore all three pits and admire the vivid life-size soldiers and horses, learn and discover the profound history of Qin Dynasty.
Xi'an City Wall (Chengqiang)
Have a short break for lunch in well-selected restaurant and enjoy the local food. Then continue your Xi’an sightseeing in the downtown area. Visit the Ancient City Wall - one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world and the landmark of Xi’an, you can walk along the wall to learn and feel the profound history, or rent a bike at your own expense and cycle on the wall to have an interesting experience.
Muslim Quarter
Then continue to explore the Muslim Quarter - the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City, here you will find lots of mouthwatering local snacks and interesting souvenirs, have a taste of local snacks and choose some souvenirs for your family or friends if you like. After the full day Xi’an visiting, your guide and driver will transfer you to Xi’an Airport to catch the return flight to Beijing. Please make your own transportation in Beijing. This would be a long day but truly memorable trip of Xi’an.
