Wood Engraving Workshop
Engraving in Oaxaca is a very popular artistic technique, which is characterized by its incursion into street art. In our workshop you will learn the basic skills for creating an engraving piece in a simple way and without prior experience. We will guide you throughout the entire process, giving you advice so that your result is good and so that you have a good time. Likewise, if you are already an artist you can experiment in the style of local artists. You can also learn about the historical and sociocultural context that influences the development of this artistic practice in Oaxaca and Mexico.

What's included in Wood Engraving Workshop
(Subject to Option Inclusions)You will be able to make your first artistic engraving with the professional guide by contemplating, drawing, learning about the historical and cultural context of Mexican engraving, learning the basic principles to be able to develop the technique, practicing, engraving in wood implementing the knowledge acquired and printing in a circle. At the end you will get three paper prints of your artistic work, as well as your motherboard. We are located in a safe area with easy access, on Vicente Guerrero Street #100 int 2, next to the main square, in the heart of the city.
