What makes this experience unique is unlike many food tours that are run by corporations, this is a one man show. This experience was created specifically with those who are visiting Los Angeles in mind. Your host will take his love of food and knowledge of the local area and combine it with his unique style which makes for a wonderful tour.
This tour is just over 2 hours and explores the West Los Angeles neighborhood of "Sawtelle Japantown," where participants will enjoy a variety of dishes, including karaage, sushi, tea, ramen, dessert, and more. Known for his humorous tour style and deep knowledge of LA—having lived here for over 25 years—your host will provide an engaging and insightful experience.

Our walking food tour will take us through the Sawtelle Japantown neighborhood of West Los Angeles. You'll get to try some of the best food Los Angeles has to offer while learning about the history and culture of the great city! JB uses his unique comedic style while talking about 2 of his favorite things (food and his city of Los Angeles).

- All food is included. All food items will be in snack or small portions but will equate to a full meal.
- One water bottle will be given to each guest at the start of the tour.

- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Meeting / End Points
- We will meet on the sidewalk outside of Anzu. Parking can be a challenge in the area, so I recommend utilizing Uber/Lyft or arriving early to find a spot to park. There is also a paid lot ($10) right next to the meeting spot. Guests are responsible for covering their own parking expenses.
