The Hall of Mirrors is undoubtedly the most renowned room in the entire Palace of Versailles, measuring almost 70 yards in length and featuring an astonishing 357 mirrors. Originally designed to reflect light and protect the walls from smoke, the mirrors created an enchanting effect by reflecting candlelight throughout the room. On June 28th, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles, which marked the end of World War I, was signed in this iconic room. From 10 July 2025 - 14 July 2025 and 1 September 2025 - 31 December 2026: Your guide will meet you outside of Café Pierre Hermé ( located near Pont de l'Alma bridge), holding a sign with ''The Tour Guy'' on it. It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 10 - 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded. • Large bags, backpacks, luggage, umbrellas, tripods, strollers and baby carriers cannot be brought into the Palace of Versailles. In general, any items exceeding 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm are not permitted • Mandatory: Everyone is required to carry a copy of the identification page of their passports on all tours. • We will be subject to a security check at the entrance to all sites.
