Tiwanaku

Tiwanaku was the oldest culture in America, lasting 27 half-centuries from 1580 BC to 1172 AD. The pre-Hispanic city of Tiwanaku, located in the department of La Paz, was the capital of an extensive Andean state that included the western part of Bolivia, northern Argentina, Chile and southern Peru We will visit the Museum of Ceramics, Lithic, the Archaeological Center, where the Kalasasaya temples are located, the Pyramid of Akapana, the Semi-subterranean Temple and finally the Pyramid of Puma Punku. The visit to the museums and the archaeological center will take us approximately 2 hours of walking, Puma Punku 25 minutes
