You will hear about the Nazi rise to power and their ideology at the Quarters of the Gestapo and the SS. you will visit the Jewish quarter and see the New Synagoge.

From Potsdamer Platz, we will see a memorial to the American journalist Varian Fry and then proceed to the German Resistance Memorial at the Bendlerblock. This is the site from which Operation Valkyrie was directed and a memorial that now commemorates all Germans who opposed and fought against Nazism.
This station, of which a ruined original part remains, was one of the starting points for the deportations of Berlin's Jews. From there, we will take a train to reach Berlin's Jewish quarter.
