Itinerary

Trocadero

We’ll begin our tour at Trocadéro, the perfect first stop to set the tone for your Paris experience. With its grand terrace and sweeping, unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower, it’s one of the most iconic photo spots in the city. Arriving early means fewer crowds and soft morning light—ideal for capturing that unforgettable first impression of Paris. As we take in the view, I’ll share the fascinating history of the tower and the role Trocadéro played in shaping the modern Paris skyline. From here, we’ll set off into the heart of the city, already inspired.

Arc de Triomphe

Just a quick ride to our next stop: the majestic Arc de Triomphe. Standing proudly at the top of the Champs-Élysées, this monumental arch was commissioned by Napoleon to honor his army’s victories and remains one of the most powerful symbols of French pride and resilience. I’ll share the story behind its construction, the unknown soldier buried beneath it, and the ceremonial flame that burns in his honor every night. Whether we admire it from below or climb to the top for panoramic views, the Arc offers a striking glimpse into France’s storied past and Paris’s grandeur.

Champs-Elysees

After taking in the Arc de Triomphe, we’ll enjoy a leisurely walk down the Champs-Élysées, Paris’s most famous avenue. Lined with elegant shops, cafés, and historic landmarks, this boulevard has long been the backdrop for parades, celebrations, and Parisian life. Whether you're window-shopping or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it's a chance to experience the city's glamour firsthand. At the end of the avenue, we’ll hop on the Metro like true locals, giving you a feel for how easy and efficient public transit can be. I’ll guide you every step of the way so you’ll feel confident navigating it on your own later in your trip.

Additional Information

There are a few logistics we need to get out of the way to ensure the best experience for you. First off we need to determine your timetable. Also, we need to know if you have luggage or if we need to check it into a locker at the airport. Please be advised that the airport is approximately 1 hour from the city. You will be required to purchase the RER tickets round trip for the airport, I will assist you when you arrive. We utilize public transport (RER & METRO) But if you have 4 people in your party the Taxi is the same cost as public transit and more comfortable. A private car is available as an upgrade. We will determine how much time ahead of the flight do you wish to be back before confirming the schedule. Please provide pick-up times and details such as airlines and flight numbers, this enables tracking for flight delays. Do you have anything that you must see? Other than the Eiffel Tower of course! Generally, we purchase some famous french baguette sandwiches to take back to the airport for maximizing your sightseeing time. If time isn't a concern, we can certainly stop at a cafe en route or at the end of the tour. We will end at the Fountaine du Saint Michel which is where the RER (train) will take you directly back to the airport. Your Uber app works as well. We will make sure you have tickets and board the correct train, you will travel to CDG on your own. The RER ends at the airport, so you can't get lost.
