If you love hiking this is the tour your family will enjoy. 1-10 with ten being the most strenuous, this hike is a 3. Very good tour! You well do a little hike to an up-close view of Tear Drop Arch. After that little hike you well be able to see an up-close view of some Anasazi Ruins. You well get to see a very beautiful view of Monument Valley from a lookout point located on the mesa behind the high school. Not a lot of people know of this place because it is located outside of the Navajo Tribal Park, so if you want to do some extra stuff in Monument Valley, Tear Drop Arch Tour can give you something to do.
Tear Drop Arch is located outside the Tribal Park, there is a bit of hiking to get to the arch and around to the ruins but well worth the hike. This tour is an extra tour we offer if you want to explore Monument Valley a little more. We don’t get much bookings on this tour but it is well worth the trip. It’s more of a private local area place where locals go for a quick get away and you well be able to see Monument Valley from a higher point. You well be able to see the buttes spread out below. Very beautiful view looking out towards the East. The look out point alone has a beautiful view, the ruins and the tear drop arch are also very unique and beautiful. If you have the time to do this tour, check it out.
