We'll run along the old city walls to the four corners of the city and through hundreds of years of stories. In just an hour you'll see and learn all about the key historic and cultural sites Canterbury has to offer, as well as discovering some of the city's many secrets.
Your guide will be happy to answer any questions you may have or even take a detour to show you something that may be of interest to the group.
The tour is suitable for all levels of runner, from beginner to expert. We will run at whichever pace feels most comfortable for the group and nobody gets left behind. Our tours contain frequent stops so you will most likely be able to run further and faster than you would on your usual run.
Our city tour starts and ends outside the cathedral. Your guide will give you a rich insight into the role and importance of the cathedral in the city's history, it's dramatic past and the role it serves today.
When you're up on the city walls, you're running along 2,000 years of history. Hear all about how the walls went from primitive Roman defences to the fortified stone work that you see today.
The highest point of the tour is on Dane John Mound, the mysterious hill in the city's central park. From here you can see most of the city and get a sense of it's scale and beauty.
