Our location is super close to the train station and also to the famous spots such as Bamboo forest, kimono forest, Togetsukyo bridge, Tenryuji temple. The whole tourism area is compact which won't take so long to walk, every spot is very photogenic and goes well with a kimono look. In this area (Arashiyama), there are not only traditional buildings, but also the amazing nature as well. There are not so many tall buildings so when the weather is good, you see unbelievable wide blue sky together with light green river. We recommend just sitting by the river and do nothing for a while, it can be quite healing experience.

We are a professional kimono shop in Kyoto. In our shop there are many different type of kimonos, including tradition styles, modern styles. We have kimonos both for female and male. We are sure you can find a kimono you like. You can wear the kimono until 6pm of the day.

Itinerary

Bamboo Forest Street

One of the best location you need to see when you visit Kyoto, Japan is the Bamboo forest in Arashiyama area. A beautiful path has tall and nicely planted bamboo on the both side which lasts for more than 2km. The bamboo forest is quiet, photogenic and healing. You can get a lot of peace there and forget about your job. We highly recommend wearing our kimonos and do a photo session there with our profession photographers. It will be very special and unforgettable. It takes 5-6mins to get to the entrance of the forest.

Togetsukyo Bridge

Togetsukyo bridge is a huge old style bridge crosses over the beautiful Katsura River. It's the icon of Arashiyama. The reason why it's so popular is because the mountain Arashiyama behind the bridge, in autumn time trees on the mountain turn red, which you see in many posters.

Arashiyama Kimono Forest
