When you are ready, let's explore Hokkaido shrine! Hokkaido Shrine is one of the largest and most popular shrines in Hokkaido, and the locals and tourists visit all year round. On this tour, you can weat kimono or yukata and walk around the precinct. While walking around the precinct, your English-speaking guide will tell you some etiquette for visiting a shrine, and Japanese shrine culture that will help your visiting. During the tour, you will take a break by eating a famous sweet treat at a shop in the precinct.

On this tour join one of the local Sapporo Explorers- living in Sapporo, the Explorer for your tour will be your companion around the city and help you to enjoy the town like a local.

We're going to visit Hokkaido Shrine, one of the largest shrines in Hokkaido in kimono.

You will meet your Sapporo Explorer in front of a kimono shop. Your guide in kimono will be waiting for you.

At the kimono shop, you can choose your favorite kimono from tons of options, then the staff will help you to wear them. Depending on the weather on the day, you will wear kimono or yukata(a casual summer kimono).

After dressing up in kimono, you will get your hair done as well.

When you get ready perfectly, it's time to explore Hokkaido Shrine on foot!

Let's pass the torii gate and with a solemn mind. Your Sapporo Explorer will teach you some etiquette for visiting a shrine.

After visiting a shrine, you can buy a lucky charm, pick omikuji fortune slip, and see the local's celebratory events if you are lucky. You can stop by a sweets shop which has limited sweets you can only get there.

After the relaxing time at the shrine, go back to the kimono shop and get changed, then the tour ends.
