If you've chosen the self-drive option, don't worry - before you hit the road, Francesco will make sure you're comfortable with your scooter during a test drive. With your safety ensured, it's time to rev up your engine and hit the open road! You'll feel the wind in your hair as you explore the rolling hills and cobbled roads of Rome. Along the way, Francesco will guide you to hidden gems and local hotspots that you might not have discovered on your own.
Colosseum
Francesco will make a stop at the iconic Colosseum, one of the most renowned monuments in the world. Here, he will provide you with a fascinating history lesson about this ancient wonder. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to capture the memory forever by taking a picture with your Vespa against the backdrop of the Colosseum. - DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
- 1. Scooter Driving Skills: For safety reasons, riders must have prior experience. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
- 2. Driving License: If you have an EU-issued driving license, it must be category A or B. This requirement also applies to the UK, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, and Switzerland.
- 3. International Driving Permit (IDP): Drivers with a non-EU issued license are also required to hold an International Driving Permit.
- 4. Security Deposit: In order to rent the Vespa, a security deposit of €500 is necessary. This can be paid by credit card or in cash. The deposit serves as a guarantee for the loaned Vespa.
- ⚠️Important Notice: If the driver fails to meet our driving requirements, there will be no refund.
- ⚠️Additional Requirement for US Citizens: US citizens must also bring an International Driving Permit issued by the American Automobile Association.
