A tour of the old town's famous shopping streets, religious buildings, notable landmarks and places that may be of practical interest to English-speaking travellers such as Irish bars, recommended cafés, restaurants, and second hand shops. We also visit the quieter, residential streets, flower market, and arguably Nice's most popular ice-cream parlour. I have plenty of interesting historical anecdotes and local hints and recommendations for places across the old town.

- The Place du Palais de Justice is one of Nice old town's most popular and well-known squares. It's a few moment's walk from the Opéra tram stop and opposite the Palais de Justice itself is another landmark, the pink tower of the Palais Rusca.
