After a 3-hour whale watching cruise in Faxaflói Bay on the lookout for magnificent minkes, humpbacks and other marine life, drive inland to the Hvítá River for an exhilarating white-water rafting trip. Finish with a shower and sauna back at the baseacamp.

Duration: 10 hours: Approximately total duration with pick up and drop off at your hotel or nearby bus stop.
Bring lunch / snacks: This is a full day tour, so please remember to pack lunch / snacks to eat throughout the day.
Old Harbour to Drumboddsstaðir: First tour is whale watching in Reykjavík and the second is the rafting tour from Drumboddsstaðir, about 1 hr. drive.
Boat and Raft: Whale watching is on 145-195 passenger boat. Rafting is on 12 seater raft.

Meet the team at Elding's ticket office at the Old Harbour in Reykjavík and walk down to the whale watching boat where the journey begins!
Meet your expert guide at Arctic Rafting base camp where you get geared up for the tour and go over some safety details before embarking on a journey to the white water river!

Please arrive at the pick up point 45 minutes before departure time.

Please be ready and waiting for pickup at your hotel or designated bus stop between 8:15-8:45.

- If pickup is not required, please arrive at Arctic Rafting's base camp at 14:45 the latest.
