Once a vital center of Late Antique Europe, Ravenna is home to spectacular art and architecture from this significant era. As we meander through the historic center, we'll visit some of its most famous landmarks adorned with early Christian mosaics—still radiant in color and rich in meaning.
You'll have time to enjoy a leisurely lunch in the heart of the city, with dining options tailored to your preferences. After our tour, my driver will return you to Venice.

The Tomb of Dante is the final resting place of the illustrious poet Dante Alighieri, author of The Divine Comedy. Exiled from his native Florence, Dante died in Ravenna in 1321. The tomb is a small neoclassical structure designed by architect Camillo Morigia in 1780.
