You will be accompanied and guided through the wooden shoe making by a professional and experienced clog maker. He has been in the business for a long time and will teach you all sorts of tips and tricks about the trade of wooden shoemaking.
You get a joint explanation and demonstration of how clogs are made, both manually and with the machine. All tricks of the trade are explained and everyone gets the opportunity to make a wooden shoe from a block of wood per person (from 4 people). The workshop is physically demanding, which is why this workshop includes painting a blank beer opener. You can of course also choose to finish your own wooden shoe. At the end of the workshop, you will be given a tour of the cheese farm. This includes tastings of all types of cheese, Dutch biscuits, and fruit wine. Total duration approximately 2 hours, of which approximately 1.5 hours making and engraving clogs. Food and drinks can be purchased in the restaurant.
