Chantilly Castle Chantilly is one of the most impressive palaces and estates located north of Paris, one of the jewels of French heritage. Ancestral home of the Prince of Condé and the Duke of Aumale, it is located in 7,800 hectares of forest. It is a museum itself with a treasure of 1000 paintings, 2500 drawings, 2500 engravings by Raphaël, Ingres, Wateau, Poussin, Delacroix… and 30,000 precious books. It contains remarkable collections of furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries. The Galerie des Batailles is once again open to the public to see the sumptuous, fully restored decor and twelve paintings depicting the victories of the Prince of Condé.
