One of the most important temples in the Higashiyama area. During special nighttime viewings in spring, summer, and autumn, the white sandy beach and elaborate illuminations that match the themes are a hot topic. Nighttime illuminations are held for a limited time in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. If you are lucky enough to be able to visit Kodaiji during this time, we recommend that you take a look at the illumination of Kodaiji, which can only be seen during this time. However, illuminations are not held every day. We apologize if the schedule does not suit you, but we will contact you again next time. (If you would like to have a special night view, you will need to adjust the start time, so please contact us after making your reservation.) This place can be customized to your liking.

Japanese cultural experiences are now popular among the younger generation of Japan. Please come to Kyoto and enjoy an experience that can only be found in Japan. Tea ceremony sessions are conducted in English or Japanese. Professional instructors in this industry will carefully teach you the history of Otemae and tea ceremony. During the tea ceremony experience, you can enjoy small Japanese sweets along with your matcha tea. It is also possible to take photos inside.
