What's included in the package
Itinerary
Riomaggiore
is the last village you will see, on your way back to Florence ( even it would be the first coming from La Spezia!). It is divided into three separate parts: the station, where the trails towards Manarola depart; the center of the village, where the trails to the Church of Montenero and Portovenere begin and the fishermen’s district.
Castello di Riomaggiore
The semi-destroyed walls of the fortress and the two towers are the only things that remain of the castle of Riomaggiore. These defensive structures were built high up, so a stretch of the Blue trail and the shoreline of Riomaggiore can be seen from the terrace of the castle: take a photo and impress this enchanting moment!
Admission Ticket IncludedManarola
The second town you will see is Manarola, a little urban pearl identified by typical Genoese style ‘case-torri’.
Chiesa di San Lorenzo
Also known as the church of St. Lawrence, it is dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. It was built in the early part of the 14th century in the Gothic Style by the famous architect Maestri Antelami. The interiors are richly decorated and the charm is still intact. The brass relief designs on the arch are the symbols of the martyrdom of St. Lawrence.
Admission Ticket IncludedVernazza
It is the most beautiful village of Cinque Terre, small and very picturesque. Thanks to an ideal climate, plenty of sunshine and little wind there are many olive groves and vineyards.
Corniglia
Corniglia is the smallest village of Cinque Terre. It is set on a cliff 100 meters above sea level, and the railway station is located in the lower part of the village. The tiny town, then, can be reached on foot by climbing the staircase ( about 380 steps) or with the bus that leaves every 10 minutes after arrival of the train.
Borgo Storico di Corniglia
Via Fieschi runs the entire length of the village of Corniglia, from the bus stop. It is a small and narrow little street where you can enjoy a walk. Via Fieschi passes through the main square of Corniglia and terminates on the panoramic terrace of Santa Maria, from where there is a view of the Riviera.
