The Whale watching with Drone viewing tour was designed to be the best whale-watching excursion in Alaska, by using the following features;
-The boat we use is large enough with its 14 passenger capacity to comfortably seat families and groups while still having excellent passenger to crew ratios.
-The waters of Icy Strait has some of the best Whale, Orca, Brown Bear, Otter, and other animal viewing in Alaska!
-The Drone is a unique addition to our excursion, that only we do. It enables us to legally and safely view the wildlife from above and film them for your viewing! These views have to be seen to be believed!
-Your crew. No other company has as much experience with viewing wildlife with drones as we do, and with thousands of flights both for tours and research we have a better understanding of the animals and can show and explain them better than anyone else can!

(Subject to Option Inclusions)Voyage along the waters of Icy Strait to see Humpback whales, Steller sea lions, orcas, sea otters, bears, and other Alaskan wildlife. Captain Josh brings passengers along a journey into the wild waters of Alaska on his small, custom boat. Passengers can view whales from the outside deck or inside the protected cabin. This tour offers an exclusive look at whales in the wild with the help of a professional filmography drone. Same tour as our regular Whale and Drone Tour, but a private option! If you would like to book for just your family or group, or would like to look for certain things in particular or go specific places, this is the tour for you! We can accommodate up to 14 passengers on our excursion!

PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TOUR IS SCHEDULED TO DEPART, OUT OF COURTESY TO OTHERS WE LEAVE ON TIME. If your ship is docked at the Adventure Dock, proceed ashore to the Icy Strait Point Adventure Center. Once inside the Adventure Center walk through the building and exit through door number “2”. (This is clearly marked). Follow the signs on the gravel path to the Excursion Hub. The total walking time is 6-8 minutes, please allow extra time if you are not a fast walker. We ask that you check in for your tour 15 minutes early and we leave on time. If your ship is docked at the Wilderness Dock this is a 25 minute walk, or you may ride the Transporter Gondola(3 minute ride) to the Adventure Center. If you walk, once you arrive at Adventure Center follow signs to Excursion Hub. If you take the gondola, once you step off of gondola you should see a sign for the Excursion Hub. Take a left and follow path to the Excursion Hub. Once you are at the Excursions Hub, you will look for your driver who will be holding an orange sign that says "Alaska Whale and Drone Tours". Check in with them, and they will bring you into town!
