Itinerary

Your tour begins at one of Paris’s oldest chocolate shops, founded during Napoleon’s reign and designed by the architects of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel du Louvre. Once the official supplier to the kings of France and Napoleon, they continue to craft some of the country’s finest chocolates. You'll taste three different chocolates while discovering the rich history behind this emblematic address.

You’ll then make your way toward Les Invalides, originally built by Louis XIV as a military hospital and today home to Napoleon’s tomb. Along the route, you’ll pass 18th-century private mansions and important political institutions such as l'Assemblée Nationale. Facing Les Invalides, you’ll pause to enjoy a freshly prepared pastry from Maison Fleuret’s chefs.

Rue Cler

The walk continues to a celebrated local artisan, a world champion for his pâté en croûte and a former chef at the iconic La Tour d'Argent. You’ll taste his award-winning pâté along with his gougères, traditional savory bites from Burgundy.
