— Courses —

[PADI Open Water Diver (OW)]

• The PADI Open Water Diver (OW) course is a more comprehensive introduction to diving and includes three parts: Knowledge Development, Confined Water Training, and Open Water Dives
• Knowledge development covers the principles, concepts, and terms you need to know for dive safety and enjoyment
• During 5 Confined Water training sessions, you will learn and practice scuba skills in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. This gives you the ability and confidence to complete your training with 4 Open Water dives
• Open Water is where it all comes together and at a local dive site you will practice, apply, and demonstrate what you learned in the classroom and in confined water
• To earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification you will pass a theory exam and display mastery of the required skills in both confined and open water
• As a PADI Open Water Diver, you'll be trained to a maximum depth of 18 meters and are qualified to dive in conditions as good as, or better than, those in which you trained

[PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOW)]

• The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOW) course is designed to improve your underwater knowledge and skills. Upon completion of your OW course, you can begin the AOW course
• During this course, you'll make five Adventure Dives and together with your instructor, you’ll plan your learning path by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives
• There are two required dives, Deep and Underwater Navigation, and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives
• During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks, and time
• You can choose the other knowledge and skills you will improve depending on your interests
• The list of adventure dives on offer is long, from mastering buoyancy control to exploring wrecks (we have one within 5 minutes of the shop) to drift diving and both fish identification and coral conservation. The choice is yours and our entire team is available to give you the skills you need to dive the way you want

• Open Water Diver: 4 days
  Timeline:
  Day1: 9:00am to 4:00pm Classroom for theory study
  Day2: 9:00am to 4:00pm confined water training sessions (could finish earlier if the student meets all performance requirements)
  Day3: 9:00am to 1:00pm 2 x open water training dives
  Day4: 9:00am to 1:00pm 2 x open water training dives
  
• Open Water Diver eLearning: 3 days
  Timeline:
  Day1: 9:00am to 4:00pm confined water training sessions (could finish earlier if the student meets all performance requirements)
  Day2: 9:00am to 1:00pm 2 x open water training dives
  Day3: 9:00am to 1:00pm 2 x open water training dives
  
• Advanced Open Water Diver: 2 days
  Timeline:
  Day1: 9:00am to 4:00pm (or until 7:00pm if night dive is chosen) 3 x adventure dives
  Day2: 9:00am to 1:00pm 2 x adventure dives
  
• Open Water + Advanced Open Water Combo: 6 days
  Timeline:
  Day1: 9:00am to 4:00pm Classroom for theory study
  Day2: 9:00am to 4:00pm confined water training sessions (could finish earlier if the student meets all performance requirements)
  Day3: 9:00am to 1:00pm 2 x open water training dives
