What's included in NEW: Private Buenos Aires Pasta Cooking Class with Nico

(Subject to Option Inclusions)

Meet your host Nico at his modest home in Chacarita - a vibrant and emerging food district of Buenos Aires with an old-school Buenos Aires feel. Begin your hands-on Buenos Aires Italian cooking class with a glass of Argentinian red wine in Nico's small kitchen. During your cooking lesson, you will learn to make a starter and pasta with two types of fillings. You might learn to make ravioli filled with homemade ricotta and basil with lemon zest in a sage butter and braised meat with citrus in a classic tomato sauce or other types of pasta such as tonarelli alla carbonara, gnudi, cavatelli or gnocchi. After cooking, enjoy your meal at the dining table or on the terrace, weather permitting. Your meal includes two glasses of Argentinian wine and concludes with a homemade dessert. Nico is a musician and composer who like many Argentinians comes from a family of Italian immigrants to whom food is a central part of life. He learned to cook with his mother and grandma, preparing Sunday lunches for the whole family. With Nico, you will not only learn how to make pasta but also its cultural significance - ask Nico why gnocchi is eaten on the 29th of the month! Your menu varies seasonally.
