Start the day at one of Nagoya's most famous places of worship, Osu Kannon Temple. Then, swing by the Osu Shopping Street, not far from the temple, and learn about the 400-year history of the area. Sample a variety of Japanese street foods and some Nagoya-exclusive dishes. Learn the origins of the food that represents the city of Nagoya. You’ll be able to try famous dishes like goheimochi (grilled rice cakes), karaage (fried chicken), miso kushikatsu (fried meat skewers), and uiro, to name a few. Finish off with a trip to a Japanese shrine to pull a fortune before heading home.
