Itinerary

Mt. Marathon

Your guide will take you up the Mount Marathon Jeep Trail to arrive into the Bowl. After taking in some time being immersed in the surrounding summits and beautiful greenery, keep hiking along the skyline ridge trail to reach the summit of the famous Mount Marathon Race Trail. Watch runners cruise down the shale and gain new vantage points of Seward, Resurrection Bay, and the nearby mountaintops.

  • The trailhead is located on the corner of 1st & Monroe, an approximate 10-15 minute walk from downtown Seward. When parking, please note that it is a residential neighborhood, so be sure to not block driveways. A guide will be waiting for you at the trailhead if you need assistance finding parking.
