Mount Etna
It is one of the world's most active volcanoes and is in an almost constant state of activity. Rifugio Sapienza on Mount Etna is a popular starting point for excursions up the active volcano. Located at about 1,900 meters above sea level on the southern slope of Mount Etna, it offers services such as accommodations, restaurants, and guide services for tourists aiming to explore the volcano. It is accessible by road and is near the cable car that transports visitors further up the mountain towards the summit craters.
