Marrakech
Departure from Marrakech: In the morning, You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech. The journey to Ourika Valley will take you through beautiful landscapes, including lush greenery, olive groves, and traditional Berber villages. Scenic Stops: Several stops will be made along the way to take in the panoramic views and perhaps snap some photos of the mountainous terrain and local wildlife.
Setti Fatma and the 7 Cascades
Trekking to the Waterfalls: On arrival at the village of Setti Fatma, You will embark on a moderate hike to the seven waterfalls. A local guide will lead the way and share insights about the local ecology and Berber culture. Exploration and Relaxation: At the waterfalls, You can explore the natural pools, enjoy a refreshing dip, and relax to the sounds of cascading waters.
Ourika Valley
Visit to an Argan Oil Cooperative: After lunch, the trip continues with a visit to a women's argan oil cooperative. You will learn about the process of making argan oil and can witness the production process firsthand. Interactive Experience: There's also an opportunity to try out the techniques, like cracking the argan nuts, and to purchase some argan oil products, which support the local economy and women's empowerment.
