The experience concludes back at The point of origin with a private sit-down dinner in a 120-year-old cellar. We will gather at Calle de Atocha 76, Madrid most renowned cooking school, where you'll be welcomed with bottomless cava while waiting for the rest of our small group to arrive. Our guide will introduce themselves and outline the route we'll follow on this culinary adventure. Feel free to leave any personal belongings here securely, as the tour will conclude at this location.
Stop at one of Madrid´s first hardware stores that has kept its original decore for over 100 years. Nowadays this restaurant portrays the personality of that hardware store while serving delicious and high end lunches, dinners, tapas and wines. Here we will try the world famous Croqueta and a perfectly paired glass of wine. As we move out of the restaurant, an introduction of the neighborhood divide by calle Atocha, one of Madrid´s central streets.
Now we venture into our second stop, a restaurant that specializes on Iberian Products and spanish cuisine. You can not leave spain with out enjyoing one of our favorite products, the Jamon Iberico. This former Museo del Jamon has been renovated and re-decorated after the pandemic to cater the locals. On this stop we will experience a Jamon tasting with three types of iberian hams and our guide will elaborate on the production of these hams. Ofcourse, a good ham must be accompanied by a good wine and our guide will recommend you one for this tasting.
