This trip is a departure from traditional fishing excursions in Alaska. You’ll ride in a comfortable, wide-open skiff, you’ll feel the wind in your hair, the spray on your skin, and no matter which way you turn, you’ll be immersed in an Alaskan sensory experience. We’ll outfit you in rubber raingear and place you next to a warm fire at the fish camp, but getting a little wet is part of the appeal!
This trip is fast-paced, we’re not waiting around for the fish. You’ll drop in a spot and either start catching within a couple minutes or we’ll be off to the next location. When salmon are in, we rush to jig rockfish before switching over to troll

The best fish you'll eat in Alaska is the fish you catch yourself! Experience an authentic fishing excursion in the unspoiled wilderness of Alaska’s coastline. You’ll be outfitted with waterproof boots, bib overalls, hooded jacket, hat, and gloves. Then, glide into a breathtaking landscape aboard a stable, open-air, 24-foot skiff. Drop a line, and what you catch will become the fresh basis of a gourmet campsite meal! With only six guests per boat, your professional guide customizes the excursion to fit your interests. Along the way, you may view seals, eagles, whales, birds, porpoise, spawning salmon, and occasionally bears. With quality fishing gear, hone your skills landing a variety of rockfish, cod, or Pacific salmon (when in season). After fishing, the skiff heads to a remote wilderness campsite, where a crackling fire awaits in the rain forest of ancient cedars and spruce. Here, you’ll enjoy a gourmet meal of your own freshly caught fish, served atop a saffron-infused, bouillabaisse-inspired stew (no shellfish). Savor sourdough rolls with garlic-aioli spread, a signature rhubarb and blueberry crisp, and steaming mugs of coffee or hot chocolate
