What's included in Kayak Rental for Two People in La Jolla
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Our kayak rentals give you 90 minutes to cruise around the La Jolla Ecological Reserve at your own pace. We’ll provide all the equipment you’ll need, along with a safety briefing so you know where you can and can’t go. You’ll just need to check in at our shop 30 minutes prior to your reservation time, and kayaks and paddles will be waiting for you at the beach!
Guests may see a variety of marine life while kayaking around the ecological reserve. You might see different kinds of fish, birds, seals, sea lions, dolphins and even whales (depending on the time of year.) You will also get to see the beautiful town of La Jolla from the water, and take the amazing scenery!
If you’ve never kayaked on your own before, we recommend you check out our guided tours first.
Kayak Rentals are NOT permitted into the Sea Caves. All guests must be able to swim comfortably in order to take a kayak out on their own. All participants must be five years or older in order to participate in activity.

- All guests MUST check-in 30 minutes prior to their reservation time at our store prior to hitting the water. Kayak Rentals are NOT permitted into the Sea Caves. All participates must be five years or older. All guests must be able to swim comfortably in order to take a kayak out on their own.
Redeem
Ticket Redemption
All Guests MUST check-in 30 minutes prior to their reservation time. Guests who arrive late may cut into their rental time, or miss their rental completely. NO REFUNDS will be provided for guests who cancel with 24 hours of their reservation, who are late or miss their reservation, and may be subject to additional fees to reschedule to a different date or time.
