Known as Josefov, this Jewish quarter contains the remains of the former Jewish ghetto where important community and spiritual legends have been created and developed for centuries.

The most important person buried in the Old Jewish Cemetery is Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, known as Rabbi Löw with whom is associated with the legend of the artificial creature – the golem.
The square was founded in the 12th century and has been witness to many historical events. Here you can admire the Tyn Church, St. Nicholas Church and the Astronomical clock.
