The tour is made comfortably in a jeep Land Rover properly equipped for the purpose and is perfect for those who want to have a off-road experience in São Miguel Island. This jeep tour to nordeste will stop in Sallto do Cavalo viewpoint and Park of Ribeira dos Caldeirões. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the village of Nordeste, Following your lunch time we´ll visit Serra da Tronqueira. On our way to Ponta Delgada you´ll visit the first village to be populated on the island, the village of Povoação, as well as Vila Franca do Campo, known for its islet and its beautiful beaches. NOTE: a minimum of 4 persons is required.

Nordeste is, geologically, the oldest part of the island. With its slopes and high cliffs, it has the most fascinating viewpoints of São Miguel.
